Born on the 2nd of December, 1981 from Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model best known for her appearances in both TV shows and films. Brandt had her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand an historical action drama. Brandt began her acting career as a New Zealander through Diplomatic Immunity. Over the past decade, the actress has appeared in several TV shows including the likes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. From 2016 Brandt is playing the character in the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa and eventually moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Her career began in the field of modeling by appearing in print advertisements and commercials. Before her rise to the spotlight as a model, she worked in sales for retail and also served as an IT recruitment consultant. She was first seen in a featured appearance in 2009's New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity which featured her in the character of Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played the role of slave girl Naevia. The actress has also reprised her Naevia role in the prequel mini-series Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with the actor Craig Parker in three different television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing a bounty hunter demon called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. It is her largest role up to now. In the show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
